Even though a student may do the same practice (asana, pranayama or meditation) on different days, no two practices are ever the same. The student will begin to recognize how the body/breath/mind may behave differently on a daily basis. Sometimes the student may not be as flexible or as strong or the breath may not be as integrated as it could be or the mind may be more distracted.
Over time, the student may begin to recognize when something is out of balance whether due to stress, emotions, food or liquid intake. The student may find they may consciously or unconsciosuly make small modifications in their daily lives.
We will strive to maintain a class size of 12 students or less. This approach will provide for the individual attention needed for each of the students' practices. While practice under an instructor reaps benefits, doing the practice on a regular basis becomes the teacher.
